We use artificial lures (a lot of which are handcrafted by Harold Nash) and actual legitimate light to ultralight tackle to take Lake Lanier's
giant stripers and bass. Such lures and ultralight tackle were used by two customers who fished with Harold Nash to take a "record for one day on Lake Lanier...of 60 stripers that weighed an estimated 760 pounds." The Atlanta Journal & Constitution. This illustrates the potential of light tackle to catch large, hard pulling stripers, bass, and other gamefish. It also illustrates trophy Lake Lanier sportfishing at its finest.
